How to Update Your FiveM Server Artifacts

What are artifacts?

Artifacts are the official FiveM builds that include improvements, new features, and bug fixes. Keeping them updated is essential to ensure stability and compatibility with the latest resources.

Steps to update artifacts

1. Go to the official artifacts page

• Windows: Download artifacts (Windows)
• Linux: Download artifacts (Linux)

2. Download the latest recommended version

• Look for the Latest Recommended section.
• Download the .zip file for your operating system.

3. Replace files in your server

• Stop your server before making any changes.
• Unzip the downloaded file.
• Copy and replace the files into your main FiveM server folder (where FXServer.exe or the Linux binary is located).

4. Restart the server

Once the files are replaced, start your server again. You will now be running the latest artifact version.

• Always back up your server folder before updating.
• Check that your scripts are compatible with the new version.
• Update regularly to avoid stability and security issues.
