How to Get a License for My FiveM Server

What is the FiveM license?

The FiveM server license is a mandatory requirement to run your server. Without this key, your server will not start properly or connect to the FiveM network.

Steps to obtain a FiveM license

1. Create an account on Cfx.re

• Go to the official Cfx.re website
• Register or log in using your Discord account.

2. Generate a license for your server

• Go to: https://keymaster.fivem.net
• Click on New Server.
• Fill in the required information:

- Server name: your server name

• Save the generated key, as you will need it for configuration.

3. Add the key to your server

• Go to your FiveM server folder.
• Edit the server.cfg file.
• Add the following line:

sv_licenseKey "YOUR_GENERATED_KEY"

Save the changes and restart your server.

Tips

• Do not share your license: it is unique and linked to your server/IP.
• If you change hosting or IP, you will need to generate a new license.
• Keep your Cfx.re account secure with a strong password and 2FA.
